Once your child learns to count by 2's, 3's, 4's etc. he/she can then start to memorize the multiplication tables. Using the number chosen in Step 1, scroll through the multiples of that number with your child. Once your child can count forward in 12 multiple increments you can proceed to step 3. For example, count by 5's up to 60, 8's up to 96, or 12's up to 144.

Step 3. Some random flashcards.

Now that your child can count by a multiple, get him/her to start multiplying. For example, if your child can count by 2's up to 24 then he/she should be able to figure out what 2x2, 3x2, ... 12x2 is. Hit the 'random' button to generate a new flashcard using the number chosen in Step 1.
